Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Healing the Roots of Your Addiction
Mental health and substance use disorders are significantly entwined. When a person has a mental health disorder and suffers from an addiction to one or multiple substances, it is known as a co-occurring disorder. Almost half the people suffering from addiction are diagnosed with co-existing or co-occurring mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, bipolar disorder, antisocial personality disorder (ASPD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
According to the 2020 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), approximately 17 million people have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
White Oak Recovery Center provides a comprehensive, evidence-based dual diagnosis program to diagnose and treat substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders with the help of medication-assisted treatment within a safe and secure facility staffed by caring and passionate professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care, enabling a lasting recovery.
