Why Choose White Oak Recovery Center?
We Are Committed to Your Recovery
We understand there are many things to consider when choosing a rehabilitation program. You or a loved one should know what to look for in a rehab center before finding the best addiction treatment center for you.
By choosing White Oak Recovery Center, you invest in the best opportunity for meaningful, lasting recovery from addiction. The following factors ensure we provide the right level of care to meet your unique needs as you heal and reclaim your life:
Accreditations, Licensing, and Certifications
Reputable substance abuse treatment centers are accredited by the Joint Commission or the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Both organizations base accreditations on a treatment facility’s performance standards and demonstrated results, value, and quality. Accreditation and state licensing are not the same, and an addiction treatment facility should hold accreditations in addition to a necessary state license.
White Oak Recovery Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, the global leader in health care accreditation and a nonprofit organization that mandates treatment providers deliver quality services and results that meet industry performance standards.
WORC is licensed in the state of California by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), the state authority to license reputable rehabilitation facilities.
Staff Credentials and Licenses
Licenses and credentials demonstrate whether the team that provides substance abuse treatment and services meets national professional practice standards. The most effective care comes from a clinical staff with the proper training and experience who are licensed or accredited.
At White Oak Recovery Center, we value ourselves in carefully selecting the
most qualified leaders who exceed acknowledged professional standards to deliver the most effective treatment for your lifelong recovery. Our clinical staff is licensed and accredited, providing the highest standard of care and the best quality of treatment.
Multidisciplinary Treatment Team
The most reputable inpatient addiction treatment centers employ a multidisciplinary team. This means team members should be licensed in their specific field of practice. Be watchful of staff members taking on various roles in a treatment program.
Our team members are a mix of professionals licensed for their particular titles and roles. They work together to create tailored treatment plans for all our residents.
The treatment programs with the highest success rates utilize evidence-based practices proven effective through medical research.
White Oak Recovery Center uses only evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), twelve-step facilitation (TSF), eye movement desensitization and processing (EMDR), complementary therapies, and several other treatments.
Mental Health Services
Many people with substance use disorders also have co-existing mental health conditions such as repressed trauma, anxiety, or depression, known as a co-occurring disorder. Individuals with co-occurring disorders need a dual diagnosis that addresses both disorders simultaneously.
At WORC, we know mental health and addiction are intertwined; therefore, we incorporate care for a resident’s substance abuse and mental health disorders at the same time with our dual diagnosis treatment program.
Our highly skilled and experienced clinical team understands providing effective treatment means each resident needs all of their mental health conditions diagnosed and adequately treated to have a successful chance at sustainable recovery.
Quality substance abuse treatment can be expensive, but your health insurance may cover the cost of treatment. Make sure your health insurance benefits are accepted before making any preparations.
Our admissions specialists will work with patients and their insurance companies to arrange for treatment. You can check if you are covered for treatment by your health insurance benefits through our confidential insurance verification form.
Medical Detox and Medication-Assisted Treatment
Medical detoxification is offered at hospitals or health care clinics. Still, on-site medical detox at an addiction treatment facility allows you to begin the rehabilitation process simultaneously. The medical staff should have experience in alleviating the symptoms of drug or alcohol withdrawal and reducing cravings in patients.
White Oak Recovery Center provides on-site medical detox and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Our expert medical team safely eases withdrawal symptoms and reduces cravings with medication-assisted treatment during medical detoxification and after, if deemed necessary through comprehensive assessments.
Quality rehabilitation facilities do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s essential to find an addiction treatment program with tailored and individualized care.
WORC has gender-specific programs and custom-tailors each resident’s treatment according to their unique and specific needs to heal the underlying cause of addiction, not just the symptoms. Our clinical team collaborates with each resident to create an evolving, personalized treatment plan.
After-Care Recovery Support
After intense clinical care and support in residential addiction treatment, you might feel alone when you leave. It’s crucial to have an after-care plan and a support system post-treatment.
After treatment, all White Oak Recovery Center residents are given written relapse prevention plans and provided a temporary sponsor or someone they can lean on until they find a sponsor close to their home. Residents who complete treatment can also become a sponsor— encouraging accountability.
Addiction is called a family disease because it impacts the entire family, and families ultimately need to heal and recover from addiction too. Recovery has more potential to be successful when the whole family is informed about addiction and involved in the recovery process.
Our expert team understands family therapy is an integral part of treatment. Under the resident’s consent, family members can be included in therapy and counseling sessions once a week. Our therapists will arrange video conferences for family therapy if the resident or family is from out of state.
